As the surface of the water explodes, shoots adrenaline into your body. Your muscles will lock in position for a fight against anything that is broken water on your plug. Not Really, you're in the scrap. You sweat, pain, the curse and pray you get the fish in the boat. Your heart beats as you ask, "Will my knots hold? Do I put the hooks deep enough? Does everything hold together long enough for me to get this fish in? The catch word is all the sweeter by a remarkable fact – YOU handmade sheet yourself. It was you who wanted it cut knife, sanded it, painted, and made all its facets. Now you have your dividends in spades. There is a fish. Crafts, but first see the hands of a minnow-imitation Rapala type lure.

Hand crafting an illusion

To hand over wooden fishing craft candles Water requires a minimum of equipment. Here's what you need basically:

Lure Assembly Procedure

The procedure is simply to bring the wooden plug in a Minnow-like shape, then sand the plug body to a smooth finish. Towards the eyes, back up, fill the holes with super glue and then screw immediately bring in. You'll need an eye screw in the head, one in the stomach and an eye screw tail. Paint the drawing with a color scheme of your choice. The assembly is expected to attract well-dried for at least one day in the sun well. Want odors solvent residues and completely disappeared.

Make large, eye popping lures

Join draw eyes with super glue. Using the most eyed doll that you can to the size of lure. Yes, the bigger the better. They lead nuts fish, so you want to lure big eyes. Attach hooks to the belly and eye screw tail using split rings. Wrap tail Buck on the hook shank behind using sewing thread. I like a thread with a white tail deer. Coat the wire with rubber cement to seal it. Use a comb to "disentangle" Buck tail so it's nice and soft. It should be just slightly longer than the hook. I use a mustache comb and scissors to trim up just as well.

Attaching Terminal Tackle

Clip or tie your leader or leader material. For a strictly salt water, always use leaders of stainless steel wire that are wrapped or double loop and hand-tied on. The assembly is expected to attract well-dried for at least a day in the sun well. You want solvent odors and residue left before his baptism in salt water.

The last step is test your lure behind a moderate speed, about thirty yards behind your boat. Just be ready for an explosive strike. Then, like the surface of the water explodes …
